PHOENIX CLASSIC (or Traditional) POOL & SPA DESIGN
UNIQUE Custom Pools loves to design and build some of the most classic swimming pool styles in the valley. These projects beckon to the historic features of the most timeless pools for our Phoenix clients.
Generally referred to as Classical Pool and Spa Design, this method of swimming pool design involves using very clean and symmetric lines when configuring this style of pool design. UNIQUE’S classical pools generally encompass long rectangular lap pools, traditional clean-line pools, and square or geometric pools.
Roman Style Swimming Pool & Spa
Traditionally, this pool design style begins with a rectangular pool shape then the corners of a Roman style pool are rounded. But as a variation on the design some clients choose to leave the corners square. A half-circle is then added on one or both ends of the pool. The Roman “Courtyard – Style” pool is formed by adding a half circle to only one side of the pool, whereas the full Roman style includes the half circle at both ends.
Grecian Style Swimming Pool
The Grecian Swimming Pool Design is a contemporary pool design formed by eliminating the rounded edges out for a modern look. The base shape can be a square or rectangular pool with the corners cut at a 45 degree angle. This style can also be made more decorative and elaborate with the addition of many different angles.
