DESIGNER PROFILE: Tim Todd
Landscape & Pool Designer
Tim Todd has been a part of the horticulture industry since joining his family’s tree care business after high school in 1978. He began as a crew member and then worked his way up through the business learning both the skills and the value of each position in the company. In the 80’s his family turned the focus of their business to specialize in only landscape which provided Tim with even more in-depth knowledge of the operation and industry best practice standards of landscaping. This hands on background has provided him with a keen understanding of project design and the construction process needed to successfully turn a simple drawing into a client’s dream backyard.
In 2015, after several decades landscaping throughout Minnesota, Tim and his family/ wife Suzie relocated to Phoenix to enjoy the warmer climate and year round outdoor lifestyle. He continued to his career in pool and landscape design with a renewed dedication to working with a new plant palette and creating truly UNIQUE outdoor living spaces for his clients. The greatest change Tim has encountered with his Phoenix clients is their desire to create elaborate outdoor living spaces which they can enjoy year round.
When Tim is not working he can be found spending time with family and friends enjoying the many outdoor activities Phoenix has to offer. Boating and golf are favorite activities when he is not out in his sand buggy or working on one of his classic car projects.
