AcoustaScape AS41 System
Loudspeaker company, Origin Acoustics, has announced its new outdoor living brand, AcoustaScape Landscape Audio. The first offering in the series, the AS41 Hi-Fi Landscape Audio System, includes 4 Satellite Speakers and 1 In-Ground Subwoofer.
The AcoustaScape AS41 System includes surround sound with four 4” camouflage-enclosed satellite speakers and a bass-boosting 8” in-ground subwoofer. The system was created to remain completely hidden from sight in landscape foliage. It was also created to project even sound coverage directly into a listening spot with equal volume so as not to be a disturbance to neighbors.
The System can be expanded by adding up to four additional satellite speakers, model AS4SAT extension packs for even greater coverage up to 2,500 square feet. Sold in packages of two, the AS4SAT is packaged specifically for each area of coverage.
The 2-way satellite speakers deliver a wider dispersion and require no separate amplifier. They can be powered from any source component zone 2 output. The 8 ohms per channel impedance matched hi-fi outdoor system is equipped with 50-watt – 200 watt of power handling.
“AcoustaScape Landscape Audio is a turnkey solution for simplified in-ground performance audio,” Jeremy Burkhardt, Origin’s CEO, said in a statement. ”Our engineers exceeded our expectations with both performance and price point with the new AS41 hitting an industry benchmark.”
